1851 Census Master index (Archdeaconry of Doncaster)
This index gives surname, first name, age and volume number to assist the researcher to find which volume of the A5 books is required. All 50 volumes of these books are on the bottom shelf of the bookcase.

This is an area of consecrated ground which is used by both the parish church and the Cemeteries Commission. This index does not contain the burials of the churchyard which adjoins the church.
Doncaster Health Authority Death Registers 1873 - 1928.
This is an index of over 28,000 names of all persons who died in Doncaster, Balby & Wheatley (inc. those who died in the Workhouse, Fever Hospital, Royal Infirmary, together with other institutions). Most entries include cause of death as well as the usual details.
Doncaster St George's Burial index A - Z
This is a database of over 35,500 burials which have been taken from the parish registers for St George from 1557 - 1855 at which time all burials ceased in the churchyard.

This is a database of all readable M.I.s in Hyde Park Cemetery. Each inscription is complete and crossed referenced under each surname where more than one surname occurs.
Marriages 1800 - 1837 for the Archdeaconry of Doncaster
This database is available for over 12,500 marriages including 20 parishes from commencement of registers to 1837 and the rest of the parishes from 1775 - 1837. Also included are all entries from the Quaker records. These consist of monthly meetings at Balby, Woodhouse, Sheffield, Thorne, Fishlake and Rawcliffe from 1655 - 1794.

A Dictionary of Occupational Terms
Defines 29,106 terms, covering 16,837 different occupations of people who worked in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. They are listed alphabetically, and (unusually for a dictionary) the terms are also classified, to juxtapose descriptions of occupations of people who worked closely together to produce particular goods and services. Many of these occupations, and the terms used to describe them, are today generally unknown.
