Burial Index

Entries taken from the parish registers within the Archdeaconry of Doncaster.

It covers ALL parishes within the Archdeaconry of Doncaster, and over 265,000
named individuals have so far been entered. All information has been taken from each register entry and entered onto the database, which sometimes include such things as:- surname, forename, date of death, date of burial, abode, relationships, occupation, cause of death etc.

Please state surname and, if known, forename and/or burial place. Where forename and/or
burial place is not known, printouts covering all burial grounds are available. This is available
for one name studies. Fee is £2.00 per surname for up to 4 pages.
Subsequent pages after four will be charged at 30p per sheet and the total additional cost will
be notified with the initial search.

Doncaster Cemetery
(Hyde Park)
Monumental Inscriptions

All inscriptions from the Hyde Park Cemetery have been transcribed and are now available on a database.
The cemetery is the largest in the Archdeaconry of Doncaster & was opened on January 1st 1856. There are many inscriptions (over 6500) still readable from that date on.
We will willingly search this database for you.

Marriage Index
