Approved EC NOTES of the Committee Meeting
held on 22nd November 2007

1.  Internet Computers/Printer :  Following meetings with the Archives and Council it was agreed to purchase two desk top computers, compatible with the Council system, for internet use.    Prices have been obtained and enquiries will be made about a lazer printer with a network card and cost of cartridges.  The research room will have to be re-organised.  This will be done during the Christmas/New Year break.

2.  Internet Computers Policies and Procedures : The Society will have to follow strict guidelines.  The Council website is tightly controlled as to access regarding anything unsafe or unsuitable.  There will be a log of who signs on and off.   It will be the volunteer.  A meeting of volunteers will be arranged.  A notice will also go in the next Journal.   Mr Staniforth had prepared an Internet Access Sheet for members to sign with rules on the back and a form for non-members.  These were discussed and approved.

3.  Programme Secretary :  The Programme Secretary has indicated that she will not continue after the programmes for 2008 and 2009 are completed.
