Approved EC NOTES of the Committee Meeting
held on 18th May 2006

Spring Fair 2007 :   The School for the Deaf has been booked for the Family History Fair 2007 to be held on 31st March.  The Open Weekend will be held on the 17th and 18th March.

Purchase of research material :  A list of  possible research material was discussed and suggestions for purchases made.  Mrs Jennings and Miss Adams will look for suitable material at York Fair. 

Family History Day 2007/2008 :    Three interesting talks were chosen for the Family History Day 2007 and two for 2008.  The choice of a third speaker will be left for the time being.

Family History Day 2006  :  The required tables have been booked and also transportation.  To be confirmed nearer the time.   Attendance of St. John's Ambulance personnel still to be confirmed by them.  Bookings  have already been received.   

ISBN Numbers on CDs :   This complicated matter was discussed at length.  It was proposed that it be delayed until next month so that the regulations and implications can be looked into further. 

Change of Personnel :   Mr Walker has taken over the role of  Publicity Officer. 
 
A.O.B.   Monthly meeting reviews are now being done, whenever possible, for the Journal and the web site for absent and "out of town" members.  They also advertise the speakers.  The web button is listed as "Talks".
