2.  Open Weekend - Update:  A list of volunteers was produced.  Adverts in Libraries were not very visible – one amongst many.  Another person is still required to help with media publicity.

3.  Spring Fair – Update  :    Drinks to be provided at 50p per cup.  Restaurant facilities will not be available.   It was agreed to have an advert in the Free Press.  TRAX FM and Radio Sheffield to be approached.   There will be a separate section on the web site. A working committee will meet on a weekly basis over the next 6 weeks and report back at the next EC meeting.

4.  Purchase of New Acquisitions :  It was agreed that  6 CDs should be purchased from the YAS to complete the set of Yorkshire PRs.

5.  New CD : Now available for Adwick-le-Street and Woodlands.  Hyde Park CD coming on well.

6.  Rota :   Mrs Jennings will have a copy of the Volunteers’ Rota to monitor it.  If any volunteer is on their own at the RR they should contact Mrs Jennings who will come in.

AOB :   There will be a vote at the Federation AGM at Wisbech on 31st March on the proposed increase in capitation fees to Societies, which have not increased for 7 years, with the projection for future increases from 30p to 60p per member over 5 years.  There is a maximum fee of £600 at present.  It is important to support the Federation.  Some of the benefits include cheaper insurance through them, legal advice, representation to government and discounts on Federation publications, all of which the Society had benefited from.   It was unanimously agreed that the EC was in favour of the first phase vote.
